Parking Layout Generator

Parametric parking layouts as editable CAD, from your own dimensions

Lays out parking bays and drive aisles across a site and exports real CAD geometry on organised layers. Bay size, angle, aisle width, turning radius and vehicle class are all yours to set, and the layout is recalculated from them — nothing is hard-coded. Circulation is verified: a bay no aisle can serve, or a site with no way out, is reported rather than drawn. Runs entirely on ARQON with no external service.

For land that is not a rectangle. Type the corner points in metres, going around the edge — commas, spaces or new lines all work. Leave empty to use the width and length above. Example: 0,0 62.5,0 62.5,38.4 30,38.4 30,20 0,20

90 degrees fits the most cars. Smaller angles are easier to drive into.

The painted space, not the car.

The painted space, not the car.

Small cars need less room; large vehicles need more.

The lane cars drive along to reach the spaces. Widened automatically if it is too narrow for the angle.

Used to check a car can turn in at the entrance.

Wider spaces, placed nearest the entrance.

A road joining the ends of the rows, so no lane is a dead end and nobody has to reverse out. Costs a few spaces.

Each one shortens the walk to the entrance but costs a few spaces.

The planted strip between two rows that face away from each other. 0 means no planting.

How the ends of the islands are shaped. All four take up the same space.

A long island is split into shorter ones with a gap to walk through. 0 keeps it as one.

Lines draws the parking lines the way a plan is drawn. Boxes draws each space as a closed rectangle.

Fills the green islands with a pattern you can still change in AutoCAD. All shades the accessible spaces too.

Measures the land in metres and writes it on the drawing. Land and spaces also measures one typical car space. These are real dimensions, so they re-measure themselves if the drawing is stretched.
